Switch structure explained:
1. Electric key lock:This feature controls the internal power supply of the switch. When the electric lock is unlocked, the switch can be operated automatically and remotely. Conversely, when locked, operation is restricted to manual handling only.
2. Operating handle:The switch can only be operated manually with the handle when the electric lock is secured, ensuring controlled access and operation.
3. Mechanical padlock:During inspections, place the switch in the '0' position using the operating handle, engage the padlock mechanism, and secure the padlock. This effectively disconnects the internal power supply, rendering the switch inoperative both electrically and manually, facilitating safe inspections.
4. Position indication:Indicates the operational status of the switch (I, 0, II), providing clear visibility into its current state.
Installation Instructions
Installation method of dual power automatic transfer switch (ATS):
Installation location: Ensure your Intelligent Control ATS Automatic Transfer Switch is installed in a dry, well-ventilated area. It should be strategically placed near the main and backup power supply inlets for hassle-free operation and swift maintenance.
Wiring specifications: Connect the main and backup power supplies meticulously to the ATS input terminals, ensuring the output terminals are linked to the load. Carefully distinguish the phase sequence (L1/L2/L3/N/PE) for optimal performance and security.
Switching test: Upon powering on, simulate a main power failure to validate the swift automatic switching time (typically ≤ 1.5s), ensuring the load remains continuously powered with no interruption.
Safety requirements: Ensure reliable grounding and that the shell's protection level is suitable for its environment, such as IP40 for indoor use. Adherence to the GB/T 14048.11 standard is mandatory for safety and performance assurance.
