Working Principle:

When the current is overloaded, the bimetallic strip expands due to the heating caused by the current. The difference in expansion coefficients between different metal layers leads to bending.

When the bending reaches the threshold, it pushes the release rod, releasing thespring energy, separates the contacts, and mechanically trips the breaker;

When the current isshort-circuited, a dynamic magnetic force is generated at the bottom of the electromagnetic coil, attracting the armature to collide with the release rod.
