Switch Structure Explanation:
1. Electric Key Lock:This lock controls the internal power supply line of the switch. When the electric key lock is open, the switch can be operated both automatically and remotely. Conversely, when the lock is closed, operation is restricted to manual handling only.
2. Operating Handle:To operate the switch using the handle, the electric lock must be securely closed, ensuring manual control.
3. Mechanical Padlock:During inspection, first, turn the switch to the '0' position using the operating handle. Then, engage the padlock mechanism and secure it with the padlock. This action cuts off the internal controlling power supply, preventing the switch from being in an electric position or manual operation, thus ensuring safe inspection conditions.
4. Position Indication:Indicates the operational state position of the switch (I, 0, II), providing a clear and immediate understanding of the switch's current status.
Installation Instructions
Installation Method for Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS):
Installation Location: Ensure the MTQ3-800 Automatic Transfer Switch is installed in a dry and well-ventilated area. Position it conveniently near both the main and backup power supply inlets for effortless operation and maintenance.
Wiring Specifications: Connect the main and backup power sources to the ATS input terminals, ensuring the output terminal links seamlessly to the load. Strictly adhere to the phase sequence order (L1/L2/L3/N/PE) for optimal performance.
Switching Test: Conduct a simulation of a main power failure post-power up to confirm the automatic switching time. This transition should typically occur within a swift 1.5 seconds, thereby ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the load.
Safety Requirements: Maintain reliable grounding for the MTQ3-800, ensuring its shell protection level aligns with environmental conditions, such as IP40 for indoor use. Compliance with GB/T 14048.11 standard is mandatory to meet safety norms.
