Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is an electrical device used to automatically switch between two power sources (main/backup), ensuring continuous power supply to critical loads and avoiding production interruptions, data loss, or equipment damage caused by power outages.

Fire alarm function of ATS
In the fire power supply system, the dual power automatic transfer switch (ATS) not only needs to achieve automatic switching between the main and backup power sources, but also needs to have a fire alarm linkage function to ensure the continuous power supply of fire equipment (such as smoke exhaust fans, fire pumps, emergency lighting, etc.) in the event of a fire, and provide real-time feedback on the status to the fire control center.
Forced Switching - Even if the main power supply is restored, the backup power supply must still be maintained until manually reset (to prevent accidental power outages during fire extinguishing).
High reliability - mechanical/electronic dual interlock to avoid short circuits caused by parallel connection of two power sources.
Fast response - Switching time ≤ 1 second (some critical loads require ≤ 0.2 seconds).
Fire signal linkage - receives signals from the fire control center and forcibly locks the backup power supply.
Switch structure explain:
1.Electric key lock:Control the inside controlling line power supply of the switch,whenthe Electric lock open,the switch could be operated automatically and remotely, when the electric lock closed,the switch could be operated by handle only.
2.Operating handle:When operate the switch by the operating handle, the electric lock mustbe closed.
3.Mechanic padlock:When inspection,firstly turn the switch to the"0" position by operationhandle,then pull the padlock mechanism and close the padlock,then the inspection can bearranged:(Pull the mechanism padlock wil cut off the inside controlling power supply of theswitch.The switch couldn't be inelectric position and also couldn't be manual operation.

Installation Instructions
Installation method of dual power automatic transfer switch (ATS):
Installation location: In a dry and ventilated area, close to the main and backup power supply inlet for easy operation and maintenance.
Wiring specifications: The main and backup power supplies are connected to the ATS input terminal, and the output terminal is connected to the load, strictly distinguishing the phase sequence (L1/L2/L3/N/PE).
Switching test: Simulate a main power failure after power on, verify the automatic switching time (usually ≤ 1.5s) and ensure that the load is not powered off.
Safety requirements: Reliable grounding, shell protection level matching the environment (such as IP40 indoor), in compliance with GB/T 14048.11 standard.
