ACB (Air Circuit Breaker) is a high-performance low-voltage circuit breaker, with representative models including MT/NT and MVS series, covering rated currents of 630A~6300A, with a breaking capacity of up to 150kA, suitable for industrial, commercial, and energy distribution systems.

Intelligence: Built in Micrologic release, supports real-time monitoring (current, voltage, fault recording) and remote control, compatible with EcoStruxure platform.

High reliability: modular design, optional electronic/thermal magnetic protection, with a lifespan of tens of thousands of operations.

Comprehensive protection: Provides overload, short circuit, and ground fault protection, and supports selective coordination.

Flexible Expansion:Communication modules (Modbus, Ethernet) and auxiliary contacts can be installed.

Working principle:

The air circuit breaker monitors the current in the circuit in real-time through a current transformer. And transmit the current signal to the intelligent controller.

After the intelligent controller detects the abnormal current, it will disconnect the contacts inside the circuit breaker and cut off the circuit

Installation Instructions

·For models MTN and MTH ranging from 800A to 6300A (excluding 4000A), enjoy seamless installation with the use of standardized connection terminals.;
No additional space is required for front connections, as the terminal design ensures the depth of the circuit breaker remains unchanged;
·Effortlessly connect to either horizontal or vertical busbars by simply rotating the terminal a convenient 90 degrees.

Electrical performance testing:

Insulation resistance test: Employ a cutting-edge megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the main and auxiliary circuits, ensuring they surpass the industry standard (customarily ≥ 1M Ω).

Power frequency withstand voltage test: Administer the rated power frequency voltage (such as 2500V/1min) to both the main and auxiliary circuits to meticulously check the insulation performance.

Contact resistance test: Accurately measure the contact resistance of the main contact to affirm it remains below the specified threshold (typically at the micro ohm level).

Protection function test:

Test the threshold values and response times of protection features including overload, short circuit, and ground fault,ensuring safety and reliability.

Verify the precise settings andfunctionality of the intelligent release device, confirming its optimal performance.
